APPLY FINANCE CHANGES

My Daily Work à Mass Actions à HR Processing à Profile: Apply Finance Changes

1.       This mass action can be utilized to post a change of status transaction; relevant to financial data for a group of employees. These changed financial data will affect the amounts of the salary paycodes for this group of employees.

2.       Specify & apply required search criteria at the provided advanced filter; Selection link.

3.       Press Employees link to check employees listed, as a result of the applied filtering criteria.

4.       Click Batch link to specify batch details, in terms of the following:

o   Specify required ‘Transaction’, ‘Effective Date’ & ‘Currency’.

o   Select the required financial ‘Changed Data’ from the provided drop down list; which displays the following:

ü  All salary paycodes of System type; which are not calculated fields. For instance; (Basic Salary), (Fixed Insurance) & (Variable Insurance).

ü  All salary paycodes; configured at system setup with a check mark at ‘ Accept Data from HR’ option.

ü  Some fields which are relevant to financial data; for example (Bonus Salary), (Number of Points) & (Agreed Salary).

o   Enter the new value of the changed data at ‘New Formula’ field; whether a certain amount or formula; via utilizing the provided Formula Legend.

o   Select ‘ No Other Action’ option, incase no special increase transaction will be posted.

5.       Click Post to post the required financial changed data to a batch of employees.

Tips

§  This mass action posts (Approved) change of status records. Thus, SQL Job should be utilized to apply the effect of the posted transaction upon the “Profile”, as per the specified ‘Effective Date’ per record.

§  This mass action can be utilized to post change of status records relevant to the special increase; which is used in some countries at the Governmental sector; like Egypt. For more information, check relevant description at HITS User Manual.
